About Me
Hi! I'm James, and I'm an interdisciplinary designer.
James is an architectural & urban designer with a passion for people. He has an eclectic set of interests as a result of various academic and professional experiences throughout his career.
He received his Bachelor of Architecture from Iowa State in 2018 and his Masters of Urban Design from the University of Colorado in 2021, and has been combining his knowledge of the built environment with the broader scope of city planning to work on high-impact, community-oriented projects at multiple scales.
Professionally, James has worked in a variety of roles as an architectural designer, including international and domestic hospitality, retail, and recreation design.
Other experiences include working with the U.S. Census Bureau as chairman of the Auraria Campus Complete Count Committee in 2020, who is tasked with finding creative ways of educating people how to participate in the census and why.
When he isn't designing, James enjoys making music with the Denver Pops Orchestra and finding new ways of getting involved with his community.
